Hello all and happy Wednesday to you! I hope the first week of August treated you well. Today, I wanted to talk about one of the biggest up and coming models of 2016 that I am forever swooning over, Damaris Goddrie.
I am obsessed with her edgy look and the style of editorials she has been pictured in recently, she hasn't been out of the pages of Vogue (or off the runway) for the last six months its seems...
Dutch-born Damaris was scouted two years ago in Antwerp at the age of 16 (yes, she is only 19) with her first big job being modelling for JW Andersen's pre-fall 2015 look book.
Since then she has graced the catwalks for Marc Jacobs, DKNY and Michael Kors amongst others.
With her wild curls, flawless caramel complexion and beautifully youthful features, Damaris has seduced the fashion world. She is in many ways, welcoming in a new age in fashion (at last) where diversity is being embraced both on the catwalks and in editorials, without having to be overtly addressed.
